Lessons from a Gen-Z'er
When you see one of your offspring express respect for your work, act cool and save the celebration for a later time... like when you're alone. #LeadershipReform: The Mission Continues
Big July announcement! Even though I was born and raised in a landlocked city, in my heart I'm living on a beach somewhere. Every year I take at least a week to vacation at the beach to recharge and dream about winning the lottery. Now that I'm back from my June beach vacation, I've got exciting news to share! In my last blog, I mentioned that one of the projects I was working on was a podcast with industry experts to discuss our shared passion around leadership and #Leadersh

Leadership Reno is Under Renovation
I just realized it's been over a month since I last posted. I've been plugging away and making progress. Here's what I've been up to. Professional Reno First of all, I'm excited to announce that I've been working with an actual graphic artist to establish my brand! As an "accidental entrepreneur" and DIY Leader, of course everything you've seen up to this point has been designed and developed by me. Considering that my website and LLC went from conception to go-live in less t

Wanted: GREAT Leaders
Anyone can be a leader... ANYONE. However, there is an extreme shortage in the Supply Chain of GREAT Leaders, and executives need to pay attention. From my experience, generic-label leaders are the most common type of leaders in the corporate world today. I'm using this nomenclature to refer to those inferior, sub-par leaders who got their role because they "knew a guy"/had the most tenure/had a similar title at another organization/were a fantastic employee (so surely will m
